The SweetWater Music Festival is back with a full program in September 2022. The festival will present a roster of Canadian and international musicians in a series of classical, contemporary, and jazz concerts in Owen Sound and Meaford, Ontario from Sept. 15 to 18.

“It’s great to be back presenting a full in-person festival for 2022” says Artistic Director Edwin Huizinga in a statement. “We are excited to welcome some wonderful artists to Owen Sound this September, featuring wind players on many of our concerts.”

A Focus on Winds

This year’s festival programming incorporates a focus on wind instruments, with resident artists Sacha Rattle (clarinet), Aleh Remezau (oboe), and Todd Williams (french horn). Other resident artists include Sheila Jaffé and Carissa Klopoushak (violin), Emily Eng (viola), Arlen Hlusko (cello), Zeynep Özsuca (piano), and Joe Phillips (bass).
