The Royal Conservatory of Music has named conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin, pianist Chilly Gonzales, and arts philanthropists James and Louise Temerty as 2020 Honorary Fellows of The Royal Conservatory of Music.

“The Honorary Fellow is The Royal Conservatory’s highest designation and is awarded to those who have had a profound impact on society through their contributions to the arts,” said Peter Simon, Michael and Sonja Koerner President & CEO.

RCM’s Honorary Fellows include Oscar Peterson, k.d. lang, Ben Heppner, David Foster, Chantal Kreviazuk, Leon Fleisher, Denise Donlon, The Tragically Hip, Measha Brueggergosman, and Lang Lang.

They will receive their honours on May 26 at Koerner Hall.
