THE SCOOP | CBC Puts Out Call To Take 165,000 Surplus Vinyl And CDs

Radio-Canada is looking to get rid of their estimated 165,000 surplus records and CDs, and are asking Canadian organizations to take them off their hands. The catch? You need to be classified as one of the following institutions:

According to the CBC website, the massive collection is categorized as:

49,000 33 RPM records

19,000 45 RPM records

40,000 78 RPM records

Should vinyl not be your thing, Radio-Canada is also looking to giving away a collection of over 57,000 CDs.

Note: Interested parties must pick up the records and or CD from Maison de Radio-Canada in Montreal. To apply, you must complete an online form by March 29, 2019.
