Depuis le Moyen \u00c2ge, l\u2019\u00e9criture chorale s\u2019est d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e en Occident par l\u2019\u00e9laboration des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s polyphoniques les plus complexes, opposant ou associant le contrepoint savant aux accords d\u2019une vigoureuse homophonie.
