Les compositeurs de musique de concert n&rsquo;h\u00e9sitent pas \u00e0 puiser de l&rsquo;inspiration dans la musique folklorique, au Qu\u00e9bec comme ailleurs.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ce n&rsquo;est pas difficile de trouver des exemples d&#8217;emprunt \u00e0 la musique folklorique d&rsquo;un pays ou l&rsquo;autre dans le r\u00e9pertoire de concert. On peut penser par exemple \u00e0 certains th\u00e8mes de Haydn, Dvorak et Bartok. Parfois, il s&rsquo;agit de citations \u00e9videntes, parfois les emprunts sont transform\u00e9s, et parfois les compositeurs ont imagin\u00e9 de nouvelles m\u00e9lodies imitant les caract\u00e9ristiques d&rsquo;un folklore national. La Liszt d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui vous propose des oeuvres ayant \u00e0 leur base certains des airs les plus connus du folklore qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois.<\/p>\n<h2>1. J&rsquo;entends le moulin, arr. de Donald Patriquin (n\u00e9 \u00e0 Sherbrooke en 1938)<\/h2>\n<p>Les arrangements imaginatifs de Donald Patriquin d&rsquo;airs traditionnels tels que J&rsquo;entends le moulin, Ah! Si mon moine voulait danser ou I Went to the Market sont chant\u00e9s \u00e0 travers le monde.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u00a02. Chants du Qu\u00e9bec de Serouj Kradjian (n\u00e9 au Liban en 1973)<\/h2>\n<p>Le pianiste Serouj Kradjian, \u00e9tabli \u00e0 Toronto, est aussi un compositeur et arrangeur prolifique. Les Diableries de Fran\u00e7ois Dompierre (n\u00e9 \u00e0 Ottawa en 1943)<\/h2>\n<p>Impossible de passer \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des Diableries de Dompierre! Souvent mentionn\u00e9e en trio avec Barbara Pentland et Violet Archer, elle a enseign\u00e9 \u00e0 la Facult\u00e9 de musique de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Colombie-Britannique. Les L\u00e9gendes de Jacques H\u00e9tu (1938-2010, Trois-Rivi\u00e8res)<\/h2>\n<p>Ici, l&rsquo;inspiration directe n&rsquo;est pas la musique folklorique, mais bien trois l\u00e9gendes correspondant aux trois mouvements de l&rsquo;oeuvre : Alexis le Trotteur, le Diable au bal et la Chasse-galerie.
